We are working with a growing software company looking to hire a Full Stack Software Engineer to join its development team.
This is an opportunity to work in a small, collaborative environment where you will have genuine ownership of your work and the chance to build software from initial concept through to production.
The company works across a range of technical projects, giving engineers exposure to different challenges, modern technologies and the opportunity to develop their skills in a supportive environment.
The Role
You will work across the full software development lifecycle, contributing to the design, development and deployment of modern web applications.
Responsibilities include:

Building and maintaining frontend applications and backend services.

Developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.

Working closely with other technical team members to design and deliver new features.

Supporting cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines and application monitoring.

Improving application performance, reliability and security.

Contributing to code reviews, testing and technical decisions.

Taking ownership of features from development through to production.
What We’re Looking For
We are particularly interested in speaking with junior to intermediate engineers who enjoy building software, solving problems and learning new technologies.
Ideally, you will have:

Commercial experience in full stack or backend software development.

Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue or similar.

Backend development experience using Python, Node.js, Java, C# or another modern language.

Experience developing or integrating RESTful APIs.

Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases.

Some exposure to cloud technologies and modern development practices.

A genuine interest in technology and a willingness to learn.
Current technology stack: Python, React, AWS and Kubernetes.
However, the company is very open to engineers from different technical backgrounds. You do not need experience with every technology listed. Strong software engineering fundamentals, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in building good products are more important.
